Verona-1012-H pendant lamp - Kurt Wiborg - Jeka Metaltryk Denmark - 1980 H 22 cm - ∅ 46 cm
Magnificent Danish suspension lamp, an icon of Scandinavian design. Impeccable, high-quality workmanship in white thermo-lacquered steel and perforated metal.
Diffuses a soft, discreet light.
The lighting system is designed to create a glare-free light that diffuses soft light and shadows.
Jeka is part of the modern Danish design tradition, with names such as Jo Hammerborg, Fog og Mørup, Bent Karlby, Lyfa, Svend Middelboe, Nordisk Solar and many others all working with the multi shade system. A system first developed at the beginning of the 20th century by the famous architect Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen.
The multi shade system distributes light perfectly across the room without the bulb being visible. The system is still used by designers the world over.
