A striking 70-year-old vintage Anatolian Yoruk Kilim, traditionally handwoven in Turkey from 100% wool. Measuring an impressive 328 × 198 cm, this large flatweave rug features a beautifully structured composition of repeating geometric medallions surrounded by multiple decorative borders. Deep burgundy and dark brown tones form the background, while vivid accents of red, green, pink, orange, purple and ivory give the piece remarkable depth and character. The wool was traditionally colored using vegetable dyes, creating the rich yet naturally aged tones that make authentic Anatolian textiles so distinctive.
