A stunning and authentic large-scale African batik, entirely handmade on cotton fabric using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
The work is signed by the artist Hamidi, known for his stylized and vibrant style typical of East Africa (Tanzania/Kenya).
The painting depicts an evocative scene of rural daily life, with female figures in traditional clothing rich in geometric details.
The warm colors (sienna, ochre, and red) and the characteristic "crackle" effect (veining) testify to the authenticity of the artisanal process.
