Large Italian vintage serving tray by Cavinato Ulderico & Co. from Milan, dating from the early 1980s.
The rectangular tray combines a transparent, slightly recessed plastic surface with a narrow gold-colored metal rim. Underneath the transparent surface is a delicate floral decor in green, mint, and soft pink tones. The generous shape and the unusually light, graphic pattern give the tray an elegant Italian aesthetic of the early 1980s.
Measuring 55 × 45 cm, the tray is exceptionally large and is ideal as a serving tray, bar tray, or decorative object on a coffee table, sideboard, or console. The transparent surface creates a beautiful depth effect, especially when light falls on it.
