Large cherrywood dining table, conference table, Art Deco, with a rectangular tabletop supported by an unusual frame with two semicircular, slanted hollow columns, each on three legs. According to research, this is most likely a design by Jules Leleu, but unfortunately I couldn't find any name on the table, although it was often customary for names not to be engraved or labeled. The designers were simply known. The hollow columns could actually serve as "secret compartments." The legs are in brass "shoes." There are two black decorative bands around each column. This is repeated on the tabletop. The table could also be extended and extended at the ends, as was often the case with Jules Leleu tables. These extension leaves are unfortunately no longer available, so the table is offered as shown. It is up to the buyer whether they would like to have additional leaves made. The extension rails are still in place under the tabletop. The table already seats approximately 12 guests. With additional extensions, the table should seat approximately 20 guests. Dimensions as shown: L 175 x W 94 x H 75 cm. Knee height 69 cm. The tabletop can be unscrewed from the frame with just 4 screws, which simplifies transport. Condition: The table is used and shows a few minimal signs of wear, but is generally still in almost very good original condition and an absolute eye-catcher! I would be happy to personally deliver the table to you within a 55 km radius of 53489 Sinzig. Free delivery up to 15 km; €30 for up to 55 km. This includes Cologne South to Koblenz.
