Product description
Beautiful large vintage bowl made of solid olive wood, turned from a single piece of wood (monoxylous), circa 1950-1970. Beautifully crafted with generous proportions, showcasing a superb natural grain that blends shades of blond, honey, and dark brown. Unvarnished, the wood is nourished and oiled, with areas of natural satin sheen. A piece that is both rustic and brutalist, ideal as a fruit bowl, centerpiece, or simply as a decorative object.
27cm long, 24cm wide, and 10-10.5cm high. In good overall condition with a patina from use. There are a few minor signs of age and a discreet, natural crease in the wood on one side, which is stable and does not affect its sturdiness. Approximately 1.5kg.
