This large oval bowl is a design by Birgit Stigter for Schoonhoven Keramiek in collaboration with Van den Akker/Verschure. It comes from the recognizable 'Vriendjes' collection. It features playful, minimalist line drawings of figures on the wide rim. Dutch ceramics.
The bowl is crafted from high-quality white ceramic and features a clear glaze layer that accentuates the black, graphic illustrations. The logo is clearly visible on the underside, along with the designer's name, the series name, and the Schoonhoven Keramiek Holland stamp.
The bowl is in good vintage condition. The original sheen of the glaze has been preserved, with the illustrations standing out sharply and undamaged against the light background. The last two photos show a very small chip on the rim, which is barely visible.
