A beautiful and highly collectible large vintage mid-century modern double wall sconce, model 6065 (the desirable "chubby / large" version), designed by Sigvard Bernadotte for the Swedish manufacturer Ifö Electric in the 1960s.This striking statement fixture features a heavy central bracket made of glazed porcelain in a stunning, rare original mustard/ochre yellow hue. It holds two large threaded cylindrical shades made of thick white milk glass (opaline), delivering a perfectly balanced, soft ambient light.Designed with Swedish functionality, it can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. While originally engineered for bathrooms and vanity mirrors due to its high-quality ceramic design, its grand scale makes it an incredible decorative lighting addition for mid-century modern kitchens, entryways, or living spaces
