Exceptional large vintage dining table with beautifully figured burr veneer and a heavy central pedestal base. The tabletop features a very beautiful natural flamed/cloud-like grain pattern and a warm dark brown color. The table measures approximately 170 × 120 cm when closed and can be extended by about 80 cm to approx. 250 × 120 cm using the accompanying extension leaves. This makes it very suitable for large gatherings. Solid traditional wooden construction and extension mechanism. The extension leaves are lighter in color than the fixed tabletop, as can be seen in the photos. Six matching wooden chairs are included FREE with the table. The chairs have a traditional sprung seat and provide a great base for reupholstering. The current upholstery and some seats could use a refresh/restoration. A piece of furniture full of character for those who love Art Deco, vintage furniture, burr wood, and solid old craftsmanship. With limited restoration or reupholstering, this can once again become a particularly beautiful dining set.
