This apothecary cabinet with drawers was designed and manufactured in Belgium around 1900. It is made of pitch pine and features Art Nouveau-style cast iron handles and enamel nameplates for the contents. The cabinet has retained a rich patina, with natural signs of wear and some (old) restorations. The internal dimensions of the drawers are: D x W x H: 21 x 27 x 12 cm and 16 cm. Originally from the Het Verguld Schaap pharmacy in Mechelen.
