A beautiful, original modernist bronze pendant with chain, titled "Bethlehem Steel". This iconic piece of jewelry was designed in the 1970s by the world-renowned Finnish artist and sculptor Björn Weckström for the exclusive design brand Lapponia.
The piece is part of the rare and sought-after "Flame Bronze" collection, which was heavily inspired at the time by the raw forms of the American automotive and steel industries. The pendant is in excellent vintage condition and still features the original, characteristic dark patina that collectors so appreciate. The jewelry has never been mechanically polished, ensuring its authentic appearance has been perfectly preserved.
