"Sama" Floor Lamp – Design by Gregorio Spini for Kundalini (2004) An icon of light and geometry, the Sama floor lamp represents the excellence of Italian lighting design of the 2000s. Characterized by a slender and elegant totem-like structure, this floor lamp combines structural minimalism and a bold visual impact, ideal for defining the character of any contemporary or vintage setting. The cylindrical diffuser is made of two-tone co-extruded laser-cut plexiglass. The alternating geometric interlocking work creates a striking contrast between the vibrant fuchsia/magenta finish of the outer layer and the optical white of the interior. When turned on, the lamp diffuses a soft, atmospheric light that stands out through the openings, while casting a sophisticated play of shadows and three-dimensional reflections on the surrounding walls.
