After having stood in all kinds of rooms, more as an object than a chair, I am now ready to say goodbye to it and hope that it will find a nice place in someone else's. This truly innovative design features a cruciform cantilevered frame that allows the user to gently swing back and forth without the need for any mechanical moving parts. A design so advanced that it was the first chair to receive extensive copyright protection in court. The chair has received many awards and is present in many important collections around the world. I do not know anything about the origin of this chair, but it was probably purchased in the early 1980s by the first owner.There are light signs of wear on the steel and the chair needs a thorough cleaning.
