Gorgeous large and heavy hand-blown vase with fantasy bird from the exclusive series "Dancing Blue".
Design by Ulrica Hydman-Vallien for Kosta Boda from 2002. Rare.
Signed at the bottom with "Kosta Boda Ulrica H.V. 40151".
Signed on the side with Ulrica's initials and the initials of the person who applied the decor. Provided with the original label.
Height: 26 cm.

The vase is made with a totally new technique invented by Ulrica together with several glassblowers. In Swedish, this technique is called "mellanfång," where movement during the glassblowing process brings the color between layers of clear glass. Then the decor is sandblasted.
