Product description
Beautiful, large, hand-blown bowl from the "Blå series".
Designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda Åfors, Sweden, in the 1960s.
This bowl model was made in two sizes. This is the largest: Height: 12.5 cm.
Diameter: 19 cm.
Weight: 1779 grams.
In the comprehensive book about Bertil Vallien's work, "Har jag gjort allt det här?" by Björn and Caroline Boode, there's a photo of this bowl on page 90. See the last photo.
Several pages in that book are dedicated to this "Blå series" (the blue series).
In very good condition with unavoidable scratches from use on the bottom. See the photos for your own impression.
