Iconic model 1705 “Throne” lounge chair, designed by Warren Platner for Knoll. This is an early production example featuring the original patinated bronze-plated steel wire base. Later versions were finished in painted metal.
The chair has been professionally reupholstered in Kvadrat Tonus 4 fabric, color 474 copper/brown, which beautifully complements the black bronze frame.
The sculptural silhouette is created by hundreds of gracefully bent and welded steel rods, forming a timeless and highly recognizable design. The chair is generously proportioned and offers excellent seating comfort.
