The rare Frank Gehry "Power Play" armchair for Knoll International, ingenious design from 1990, with brand stamps for Knoll and Gehry's signature, chair: 44/66/9, ottoman: 16/93 no 082. Made of 'woven and curved' laminated clear maple wood. Purchased in 1993 and in very nice condition, without damage, only a few minor signs of wear as can be seen in the photos. The chair can be viewed in The Hague.

Frank Gehry is one of the most celebrated architects of the second half of the 20th century, making a career by pushing boundaries. After three years of experimentation and exploration, the 'collection of bentwood furniture' was presented for the first time during the Frank Gehry: New Furniture Prototypes show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
