Product description
Beautiful large woodcut by Klaas Gubbels from 2014. Number: E.A. Dimensions sheet: 35.5 x w50cm. Dimensions of the representation: H29 x W46cm. The work is signed and dated in the lower right, in pencil, by the artist. The authenticity of the work offered is fully guaranteed.
Woodcut: A drawing is gouged out with special gouges in a soft type of wood. After this, the printing plate is provided with black or colored printing ink with an ink roller, after which a sheet of paper is pressed firmly over it. The image is created in mirror image by the wood that has remained standing.
