Iconic Space Age Rochetto stool designed by Achille & Pier Castiglioni for Kartell. Rochetto means 'spool' in Italian. This is an original vintage piece from the 1960s. ABS synthetic material with a faux leather seat cushion and removable lid. Can be used as both a stool and a side table. Handy and functional Space Age design in the style of Artemide, Artifort, Guzzini, Pastoe, Knoll, Saarinen, Tulip, Joe Colombo 50, 70. Available in various colors at the time. This model has appeared multiple times in the original Star Trek TV series and films :) In good vintage condition. The cushion has two small damages, see the last photos. HxW = 44 x 40 cm
