A rare and monumental ceramic vase designed by Fridegard Glatzle for Karlsruher Majolika during the height of the German studio-influenced ceramic movement of the 1970s. Standing at an impressive 56 cm, this sculptural object embodies the expressive and experimental spirit that defined West German ceramic design of the era.
Executed in richly nuanced shades of red, rust, beige, and earthy brown, the vase combines powerful scale with a distinctly painterly glaze composition. The abstract surface treatment creates a dynamic interplay between color, texture, and form, giving the piece an almost landscape-like depth.
