Karin Székessy is known throughout the world for her high quality nude photography. Numerous monographs have been published in several languages about her art. She was the wife of German artist Paul Wunderlich, whom she greatly inspired with her photographs: see, for example, the cover of the book on the artistic relationship between the two (photo attached here: left photo of Székessy, right painting by Wunderlich).
The photograph we offer here dates from 1968, and is one of many photographs she took of some young women she chose from her immediate surroundings to act as models for her. Photograph on hard paper, 65 by 50 cm, signed in pencil and numbered 80 copies. In perfect condition, like new!
