Product description
With monogram from the block lower right. Woodcut, titled All Saints / All Saints’ Day, by Wassily Kandinsky (1866, Moscow – 1944, Neuilly-sur-Seine). First published in Kandinsky’s book Klänge (1913). After some research, it appears that a series with monogram was printed in 1911, and again in 1951 with the permission of Kandinsky’s widow, Nina Kandinsky. This piece will therefore originate from one of these two series. Image size: 22 × 22 cm Including frame: 40 × 40 cm Reference: Catalogue Raisonné Roethel 131
