Designed in 1969 by Vladimir Kagan for his wife Erica Wilson, this chair is one of the most recognizable icons of organic design.
It is an original from the Kagan New York Collection from the early 2000s, prior to its acquisition by Holly Hunt in 2016.
The label on the back of the backrest and the distinctive die-cast aluminum base, now often replaced with Lucite or carved walnut, confirm its authenticity.
When we acquired it, its condition was seriously compromised.
Today, it has fully expressed its identity, thanks to a complete philological restoration by Etoile Divani.
A piece that doesn't decorate, it defines.
