This is a beautifully preserved, large-format original that has never been framed or hung.
It is a limited edition print from 1999 by Josep Guinovart. It is numbered, dated, and signed in pencil by the Catalan artist (Barcelona, 1927–2007).
It is accompanied by the corresponding certificate of authenticity, which contains a short text entitled "Experiencing Printmaking from Within," written by the artist, and relevant information about the work, including details such as the technique (etching and carborundum on a 50 x 33 cm iron plate), the type of paper (250 gsm Arches, 50 x 65 cm), the identities of the printmakers (Martí Guinovart and Ricard Ibernon), and the edition, which consists of 99 numbered and signed copies.
The copy we are selling is number 22.
The edition sheet includes, in its second part, a complete biography of the artist in black text, with relevant dates and milestones in his career in red.
Josep Guinovart was one of the most important abstract painters in Catalonia and post-war Spain.
The work is ready to be displayed, as it is in perfect condition. In perfect condition, just as shown in the photos—although it's much more beautiful in person.

Measurements: The print is 65 x 50 cm, and the engraving is 50 x 33 cm. The artist's signature is located just below the engraving.
