For sale is an exceptionally decorative and high-quality porcelain bird group from the renowned Josef Rieber (JR Germany) porcelain factory in Selb, Germany.
The finely crafted composition depicts three colorful exotic finches on an artfully designed branch with foliage. The detailed modeling and elaborate hand-painting give the depiction a particularly lifelike and realistic appearance.
In the 20th century, the Josef Rieber porcelain manufactory was among the most well-known producers of high-quality porcelain art from Selb, Bavaria. The lovingly hand-painted animal figurines, in particular, remain highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of decorative porcelain art.
Condition: The bird group is in exceptionally well-preserved collector's condition.
