A beautiful JG Durand Mantova crystal bowl, an elegant and collectible piece from France. This bowl is in mint condition, with original sticker and box, and is a fine example of French craftsmanship in high-quality lead crystal. Purchased some time ago, but never displayed much because of children.

About JG Durand
J.G. Durand is a renowned French name in crystal glass from the 20th century. The brand is known for high-quality French lead crystal (24% PbO), which shines, is clear, and has a melodious sound upon touch. The glassworks are often handmade and cut with craftsmanship, as is clearly visible in the fine lines of this Mantova bowl.
The JG Durand factory is located in Northern France, a region with a rich glass and crystal tradition. In the second half of the 20th century, many Durand products were integrated into larger crystal houses such as Cristal d’Arques and Arc International, making these pieces now valued by collectors of vintage French crystal.
