Surrealistic sculptures in wrought iron. JLB works mostly with wrought iron sometimes combined with glass. But here he chose a colorful scene encased in a wrought iron border that nevertheless conceals a deeper message, that of the separation between 2 worlds. Our world separated from the underworld by the mythical river Styx. The 2 cm thick glass (albertini) was mass colored with natural oxides. The hand cut blocks were glued together with black silicone. The wrought iron rim was coated which provided the brown-black sheen. Unique signed work from 2024 Dimensions : 30 cm high x 18 cm wide x 15 cm deep
