Authentic Jean Gerbino vase – Vallauris (France) – unique neriage technique
Beautiful handmade ceramic vase by the renowned French ceramist Jean Gerbino (1876–1966), crafted in Vallauris.
This vase is executed in the typical neriage/millefiori technique for which Gerbino is famous: a refined construction of colored clay that forms a unique, continuous mosaic pattern. The decorative band with a geometric floral motif gives the piece extra character and makes it a real eye-catcher.
Every piece by Gerbino is completely unique – not painted, but a pattern that is incorporated throughout the clay. Details:
