Product description
Four shapes flow into the center to swirl, weave and grip each other tightly.
A sculptural, powerful, iconic object made of solid bamboo using modern materials and techniques.
The idea was to create an atypical construction and to put it at the center.
Also inspired by traditional woodcarving.
“Gentle Brutalism”
The monolithic shape is carved from high-pressure pressed caramelized bamboo.
The bamboo surface has been sanded smooth to reveal the material's beautiful grains, subtle tones, lines and details.
A natural oil finish adds depth and warmth to the caramel color and texture.
Bamboo:
A strong, very durable, flexible, beautiful and renewable material. Bamboo grows without the help of fertilizers. The bamboo tree is mature enough to be cut down after three years. The trees are processed into the most ecologically sustainable wood on earth.
