Product description
Elegant Italian cantilever chair made of chromed tubular steel, wood, and fabric, presumably from the 1970s/1980s. The continuously curved, chromed tubular steel forms a clear and light silhouette. The seat and backrest are framed by warm-toned wooden frames and upholstered. Particularly characteristic is the original geometric jacquard cover in muted pastel shades of green, rose, beige, violet, and ochre, which gives the chair an unmistakable vintage expression. Beautiful handcrafted details can also be found in the wooden construction, including the visible finger joints on the seat frame. The combination of shiny chrome, light wood, and patterned fabric combines the functional aesthetic of Bauhaus with the more decorative Italian design of late modernism. Condition: Very nice and well-maintained vintage condition with slight signs of age and use. The chromed tubular steel presents itself very well overall, as do the wooden frames.
