Italian postmodern serving trolley from the 1980s with sleek design.
This stylish trolley has a chrome frame that is the support for white Trespa shelves. The functional subdivision accommodates items of different heights. Also provided are 6 cutouts for bottles. The casters make this furniture easy to move.
Trespa planks have a core made of wood fibers, compressed under high pressure. This process gives the boards the character of hardwood. The outer layers are then further finished with phenolic resin, for a rock-hard, impenetrable and almost unbreakable effect. They are also insensitive to moisture, UV radiation or (sudden) temperature fluctuations.
The serving trolley is in nice vintage condition. There are light scratches on the Trespa boards which are barely noticeable and not distracting. At the bottom there is a small piece of the top layer gone (see photo) .The chrome has a light oxidation stain here and there which is not unusual for its age.
