Small Italian decorative ceramic piece from the 1960s with a modernist design.
Sculptural form with an openwork handle and circular opening, typical of Italian design of the period, in the spirit of Bertoncello factory production.
Beautiful deep cobalt blue glaze with reddish-brown undertones, achieved by layering glazes during firing, giving a slightly speckled appearance characteristic of Italian Mid-Century Modern decorative ceramics.
Can be used as a small vase, trinket dish, very attractive as a sauce boat, or simply as a decorative object.
Very good condition.
