Product description
A cylindrical umbrella stand produced in the 1970s, showcasing the distinctive Italian "pencil reed" rattan technique. The body is constructed from stacked horizontal rattan reeds, reinforced by vertical split-cane bindings.
The design is elevated by a solid brass rim at the top opening, which features a natural age patina adding depth to the piece. The contrast between the organic texture of the natural rattan and the metallic finish of the brass collar is characteristic of the high-end Italian organic design of the period.
