Exceptionally decorative Italian Hollywood Regency Florentine candle-style wall lamp by S. Salvadori, 1960s. This Salvadorière wall lamp embodies the distinctive Florentine craftsmanship of the mid-20th century. It features an intricate floral design with gilded metal leaves and blossoms, creating an artful, nature-inspired composition. The aged gold leaf finish, combined with delicate silver and bronze patina, lends it a rich, antique aesthetic. The two candle-style lamps with faux wax covers add a classic elegance reminiscent of traditional European decorative arts. Salvadori was an Italian lighting manufacturer based in Florence, operating in the 1950s and 1960s. The workshop specialized in the production of sculptural furniture and lighting pieces, often incorporating whimsical designs with motifs such as sheaves of wheat, feathers, and vine leaves. These elements were skillfully crafted in iron and finished with burnished gold leaf, reflecting the Hollywood Regency and Florentine styles of that era. Superb design and high-quality workmanship.
