Unique Italian design coat rack from the 1970s, crafted from multi-layered (laminated) light oak. The design combines functionality with a distinctly sculptural form and can be seen as a standalone piece even when not in use.
The flowing, organic lines and characteristic Y-shaped structure are typical of Italian modernism from this period. The freestanding coat rack features multiple integrated suspension points, subtly and harmoniously integrated into the design.
Based on its design language, use of materials, and construction, this piece easily fits into the style of Giancarlo Piretti, known for his designs for Anonima Castelli. An exact attribution is not available, but the design closely aligns with this design movement from the 1970s.

🌳 Material & Finish
The coat rack is made of multi-layered light oak, with the individual layers visible along the edges. Light, whitish lines are visible in some of the interlayers. These are not damage, cracks, or restorations, but an original and natural characteristic of the wood and the lamination process used in the furniture industry of that time.
