Italian Art Deco Pendant Lamp 1950s Vintage Opaline
Beautiful Italian Art Deco pendant lamp from the 1950s. At least, we suspect it's an Italian lamp. Similar lamps originated in the Southern European region of Italy or Yugoslavia, especially when combined with the expertise of Murano glassblowers.
This lamp is also mouth-blown and not a factory-made lamp. A characteristic of this is that the weight is not uniform throughout. This is evident from the fact that one side of the lamp is slightly tilted. And, viewed from below, it looks almost perfectly rounded.
Beautiful opaline with green details and a brass shade.
The wiring and fitting have been replaced, as well as a new hinge to slightly compensate for the imbalance. The ceiling rose is still original, as is the suspension eye.
It also has a new warm white LED bulb.
We have deliberately left the approximately 70 cm cord a bit longer in case you would like to shorten it.
The glass shade is also in good condition.
