We offer this beautiful small round table in 19th-century Italian walnut.
This extremely refined table features an elaborate wood inlay made from small pieces of different woods. The predominantly geometric decoration covers every part of the table, and the round tabletop features an elaborate checkerboard pattern. The tabletop is supported by a central turned tripod column. Its small size makes it perfect for creating a visual accent in any space in the home: you can use it in the living room, entryway, or bedroom. Wherever you choose to place it, it will be admired and envied by all your guests.
The table is in good condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with its age. Under the top is a cartouche that tells its story: "ROLO EMILIA" can still be read. This type of inlaid table in Italy is also called "ROLO tables" because the town of Rolo in the Reggio Emilia region became famous for its cabinetmakers specializing in creating excellent inlaid furniture.
If you love Italian cabinetmaking, you must add this table to your home.
