Product description
Large, majestic chandelier suitable for high rooms, with 6 brass branches, each holding 2 "candles".
12 bulbs type E27 40-60 watts or Led possible.
I found it for you in the Charleroi region, in a house for sale, previously occupied by two elderly people of Flemish origin. There were two "Flemish" or "Dutch" type chandeliers: this one with Delft earthenware and another brass one more simply decorated but just as beautiful with Flemish decorations.
With the Great Depression of 1930, Flanders experienced famine, and many Flemings sought work and immigrated to Wallonia. In the Charleroi region, they were hired to work in the mines or on the farms. They came from East Flanders and the province of Limburg.
