Vintage Gyllen wall lamp, designed by Julia Treutiger for the Swedish manufacturer IKEA in the 1990s. This light fixture features a rectangular glass panel adorned with an abstract pattern of multicolored vertical stripes, offering a pop and graphic aesthetic characteristic of the decade.
The structure consists of a sturdy metal base that attaches to the wall, supporting two standard light bulb sockets. The main diffuser is a thick, screen-printed glass plate, showcasing a vibrant palette including shades of green, blue, pink, yellow, brown, and white. When lit, the lamp emits a warm, textured light, highlighting the nuances and translucency of the glass. The original manufacturer's label is still present on the metal frame, attesting to its authenticity.
The wall lamp is in excellent condition, retaining all its original character.
