For sale is a classic, analog 35mm Porst KB 100 camera, manufactured at the turn of the 1960s and early 1970s for the renowned German photographic chain Photo Porst (based on robust King components). This camera is equipped with a bright Color-Rexar 1:2.8/45mm lens and a built-in viewfinder with a light meter window. The camera works with standard, readily available 35mm film (type 135).

The Photo Porst company was founded in Nuremberg in 1919 by Hanns Porst and for decades was the undisputed leader and largest retailer in the West German photographic market. Cameras bearing the Porst brand were carefully selected, reliable models ordered from leading manufacturers. They are still appreciated today for their solid German craftsmanship and unique mid-century aesthetic.
Technical and visual condition:
Mechanical: The camera is in good working order. The winding mechanism operates smoothly, and the shutter responds dynamically and correctly (clicks) to the trigger. The focus and aperture rings operate with proper resistance. The device has not been tested with photographic film.
Visual: The condition is visible in the attached photo (real photo) – very nice. The housing, inscriptions, and black veneer are clean and aesthetically pleasing.
