Product description
An absolute masterpiece of Scandinavian design: the original Falcon Chair (lowback model) designed by Sigurd Ressell and produced by Vatne Møbler, Norway.
This is the highly sought-after version featuring the iconic black laminated wooden 'spider base' frame. The deep, hammock-style seat is crafted from high-quality black leather with characteristic quilting, providing exceptional comfort. The authenticity is confirmed by the original "Vatne Møbler - Made in Norway" sticker. A stunning, sculptural piece for any modern interior.
Condition & Imperfection
The chair is in good vintage condition consistent with its age. The leather shows natural patina.
Note on Imperfection: One of the leather loops connecting the cushion to the main canvas sling is torn/detached (see detailed photo). This is a known wear point. The cushion requires this minor repair to be fully functional and tensioned. The price reflects this necessary restoration.
