A rare and beautiful 'Seal' easy chair designed by Ib Koford-Larsen for OPE. 1960s.
Midcentury Scandinavian design at its best. The 'seal' chair has an elegant organic shaped teak frame which cradles a leather upholstered seat and loose cushion.
This particular chair was reupholstered at some point in its life by a highly qualified upholsterer in Sweden (the previous owner once purchased the chair in Sweden).
Probably reupholstered at some point in the 1990s. It still retains its manufacturers label as seen. Apart from light superficial evidence of age and use as would be expected, it is in superb condition.
