In the 1960s and 1970s, Kill was one of the most important German furniture manufacturers. Besides the Horst Brüning collection, Kill was particularly known for the designs of Fabricius and Kastholm, which are now produced by Walter Knoll.

Horst Brüning studied architecture and interior design at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts until 1956. After periods in Copenhagen and Stockholm, where he studied industrial design, the Hamburg native established a design and architecture firm in Stuttgart in 1963. Brüning designed significant table, chair, and armchair collections for renowned manufacturers such as KILL International and COR, suitable for both residential and office settings. His style is characterized by a commitment to minimalism, clarity, distinctiveness, and durability, combined with exceptional seating comfort. His work for Kill also brought him into contact with the two Danish architects Jørgen Kastholm and Preben Fabricius, who have also achieved international acclaim.

Condition:
This glass table has been restored by us and is in technically and visually flawless, excellent, and like-new condition. It is very well cared for and shows only very, very minor signs of use. The polished and chrome-plated frame is like new and has none of the often noticeable nicks and scratches. The glass top is also in exceptional and excellent condition. A small chip (see last photo) on the underside, which is barely noticeable, is negligible and does not detract from this absolutely excellent condition in any way. It is virtually impossible to find this table in better condition!
