This opulent vintage armchair embodies the glamorous charm of bygone decades, blending the elegant style of the Hollywood Regency with the luxurious aesthetics of Art Deco . Upholstered in a deep red, velvety fabric, the armchair exudes warmth, elegance, and a distinctive presence.
The generously padded seat, the softly rounded armrests, and the gently buttoned backrest ensure exceptional seating comfort while simultaneously emphasizing the sophisticated design language of this era. Particularly striking is the elaborately crafted corded border at the bottom , which lends the piece an additional decorative touch and evokes the opulent salons and luxurious interiors of the early to mid-20th century.
The fabric upholstery is in very good condition overall. It has only a small, inconspicuous hole under the seat cushion and a barely visible tear on the backrest. The armchair stands on chrome casters which are concealed by the cord trim.
