Magnificent Leather Hippopotamus Designed in the 1960s by Dimitri Omersa for Abercrombie & Fitch. This Hippopotamus is part of a whole series of different leather animals created by Omersa for the very famous Abercrombie & Fitch store. The primary purpose of this Hippopotamus was to serve as a stool. Today it can still be used as such or simply serve as a decorative object.
The leather is patinated, which gives it its vintage look. It has some damage as you can see in the photos (a small tear and a small restoration at the level of an ear). Apart from that, it is in great condition. Do not hesitate to ask for additional photos if you wish.
