This stunning grandfather clock from the renowned German brand Franz Hermle is a rare find from the 'Contemporary Collection' (1990s).
The case is entirely crafted from high-quality brushed stainless steel. The absolute centerpiece is the sculptural opening at the bottom, finished in cobalt blue. Perfect for a modern loft, a minimalist interior, or a business environment.
Movement
Inside is the Hermle 140-010 movement.
• Floating Balance: Thanks to the 'floating balance wheel', this clock does not require a pendulum and does not need to be perfectly level to run accurately.
• Bim-Bam Striking Mechanism: Every half and full hour, the clock emits a clear sound via three hammers on sound bars.
• Key Winding: It is an 8-day spring movement, which means you wind the clock weekly with the included original key. A beautiful ritual for the enthusiast. Condition
The clock is in excellent, working condition. The stainless steel is well preserved. There are a few extremely light traces of use inherent to its age, but these are completely out of sight once the clock is in place and do not detract from the impressive appearance of the object.
