This Danish table was recently purchased in Denmark from a store full of Midcentury Modern Danish design. The owner told us that this table was designed by Helge Vestergaard Jensen. Can also be found as such online (not easy), but the table is not marked.
Other than that, it is a beautifully elegant model. Basically triangular, but with rounded sides and corners. Organic, and in a beautiful warm brown color.
The three tapered legs are finished with a brass socket.
A small raised brass edge at the top between the top and each leg. We think it is a beautiful detail, but it was probably once also functional to keep a glass plate in place. This is no longer available, but you could possibly have it sharpened by a specialist shop.
The base of the table is made of solid wood, the top is veneered.
This table would also look great in a large room as a kind of low side table, for example with 1 beautiful large vase.Considering its age (from the 1950s - 1960s), this table is in beautiful condition. it has signs of wear, such as some scratches on the blade. And in two small spots the veneer is almost through, making a somewhat lighter surface visible. See the last two photos.
