Product description
One of Hans Wegner's most recognized designs, and arguably the most iconic of the entire Danish mid-century modern period, is the GE 290 sofa, produced by Getama.
The sofa is an elegant and well-proportioned piece of furniture with a simple construction. The oak frame has sharp lines, finished with rounded ends. The backrest flows dynamically into the slanted legs at the rear, resulting in an asymmetrical composition of shapes. Evenly spaced wooden slats structure the backrest, a functional and decorative element at the same time. The beautiful original upholstery, combined with the oak, gives your interior a calm and natural ambiance.
A unique opportunity; the two-seater versions are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
