This original Hans Wegner table arrived with a rather unsightly repair to the veneer.
We carefully selected beautiful, high-quality new teak veneer, and the table was professionally restored to its former glory. And what a beauty it is!
Designed by Hans J. Wegner in the 1950s and produced by Andreas Tuck, Denmark. Model AT-303 from the Sawbuck series (also sometimes called Sawhorse).
Made of oak combined with teak.
Andreas Tuck was one of the largest Danish furniture manufacturers of the mid-century design era. Tuck produced design pieces that embody the pinnacle of classic Danish craftsmanship: simple, functional, and understated. Many of the most renowned designers commissioned Andreas Tuck to create their furniture, particularly Hans J. Wegner, who designed furniture for him for many years.
