Object: Coffee table, design from 1957 Description: The table consists of a solid table top with mirrored thick veneer on the top and bottom with a beautiful lively grain. Solid edge bands form a frame all around. Recessed steel rings are worked into the table top, which hold the table legs through a thread. The turned table legs have a robust shoulder on the tabletop side. This coffee table is an early production from Andreas Tuck's cabinetmaking workshop, not to be confused with today's Wegner tables from the Getama factory. Manufacturer: Cabinet maker Andreas Tuck, Odense, Denmark Designer: Hans J. Wegner, Denmark Material: Oiled teak Color shade: teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances) Info... The photos are high exposed, so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors are generally brighter as a result. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss. Dimensions: approx. W: 150cm; D: 62cm; H: 48.5cm Condition: Stunning! The table has been lovingly completely restored by the restorer using traditional and natural materials. The result is so good that it can hardly be distinguished from a new one (if it existed). You will look in vain for signs of use!
